15 August 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Friday. 15th [August 1862]. They tried to get up a cricket match—and arranged one for the next day– I read in morng to Mankie. Mr Fetherstonhaugh arrived & I drove with Milord, Mankie & Ecca towards Gaunts—it rained heavily before we got home. We found the old Farquharsons calling when we returned. | |
