17 August 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 17th [August 1862]. It rained without ceasing the whole day long but it did not prevent us going twice to church—(Mr Daniel morng Mr Ponsonby eveng) I drew a picture of the tower on an envelope and Ivor wrote a letter in verse and printed it to Mrs Fetherstonhaugh. While Ivor was up printing I & Ecca had a long talk with Mr F. over tea– We spent a pleasant eveng– | |
