21 August 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Thursday. 21st [August 1862]. Did nothing particular in the afternoon. I & Temmie went for a drive and then to tea at Mrs Pynes. Miss K stayed to play chess with Mr P. I read in the eveng. We intended going to the Fetherstonhaughs but they put us off as they were going for a cruise in Monties yacht. | |
