24 August 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 24th [August 1862]. Mr Daniel preached in the morng and I had May in our pew—Blanche sat with Connie with the singers– In afternoon had Mr Ponsonby. I walked up to Mrs Whitelock with the M. to see how the house looked and then we went on to Mrs Ponds but she was not at home—only her son. We came home thro’ the village and Lady Louisa & some of the children came down to tea, went to bed pretty early. | |
