13 September 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Saturday. 13th [September 1862]. The Chettle people came over today and they were beaten. It rained in the afternn and they could not play it out but Canford won by the 1st innings. Ivor played very well and made 32, Mr Stewart who was also our side 76– It rained the whole eveng. Connie & I played the piano in the eveng. Mr Corry left by 1st train. Mrs Fetherstonhaugh came. I went & met her at the station. | |
