9 November 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Sunday. 9th [November 1862]. We had a fly to take us to church it being a drizzling wet morng. Mr Francis preached. It was too wet to go in the afternoon. Maria & Rd came over & we made some chocolate for them & tea in the study. I fell asleep in the armchair for ½ hour before dinner– I read Holy Living & drew a little in the eveng. bed at 11. | |
