28 November 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Friday. 28th [November 1862]. Connie having an invite to lunch at the Aldersons and Maria going up to shop I went with them and we all had luncheon with the A’s. Lady R. Cecil and her 2 children & Mrs Cocks with her little boy were there also. Immediately after lunch Maria & I went off to shop & then called for Con: at ¼ 5. We then allowed the carriage (Clipson’s) to wait for ½ hour and went in & had some tea. We got home a little before dinner & Rd arrived from Uffington– | |
