5 December 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Friday. 5th [December 1862]. I awoke feeling rather sick but Blan came in and gave me some soda & I felt better. After breakfast we sat in the study—at 12½ Con: & Bloss went over next door & I fell asleep in the armchair till 12½. When I woke I went & practised till lunch. After lunch Bloss, Con: the M. & I went into town & we did a great deal of shopping & took Bloss home. We called for Schr at the club & brought him home & got home for dinner. Very sleepy in the eveng & came up at 10– | |
