23 December 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Tuesday. [23rd December 1862]. Maria, the M. & I went to town to see Felicia– We saw her, Milord, Manky & Uncle B—then Maria & I went to see Fanny & Mrs Stanhope. We found Mrs Ark better & out of danger. We cabbed back to Jermyn St & had luncheon with the Berties & then went with Fel: to call on Lady M. Ark: not at home– The M then called for us & we went home—having [been] invited to go to Uff: Hse tomorrow– | |
