4 March 1863 — Exeter House, Roehampton
Wednesday. 4th [March 1863]. Was very late & had breakfast in bed. Had lessons of Mme Dupuis– Miss K returned– After luncheon I & the M. walked to Jenny Linds and then went to Marias and worked. She gave us tea & muffins– In the eveng we drove in to Lady Colchesters drum. We saw there Mr M. Corry. Home by 1. The day was quite as lovely as yesterday and the night splendid moonlight– Had a beautiful box of flowers from Hampton Ct.
