16 March 1863 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Monday. 16th [March 1863]. Breakfast at 10 and went immediately afterwards with Lilly Holland to Mrs Stuart Wortley for the drawing class—came home at 2½ had luncheon. The sewing machine came & Con: spent her whole day in working it. I went over & fetched Maria’s children & gave them tea in the schoolroom– At 6 I sat working in my room till dinner– After dinner worked & sang a little. Bed at 11. | |
