21 March 1863 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Saturday. 21st [March 1863]. Rather late. Mme Dupuis was here the whole morng. After lunch I practised & worked till 5 when we had tea & I then wrote to Mrs Layard. After dinner we went to Lady Palmerstons drum and saw a great many people we knew. The M. invited Messrs Ashley & Corrie to dine next Thursday—bed at 1½. | |
