23 March 1863 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Monday. 23rd [March 1863]. Lilly Holland took me to the drawing class at Sheen. Practised & sang in the afternoon besides working. I went at about 4½ to Marias, found Poney Alderson there. I helped to water the garden & then we had 5 oclock tea & Poney sang. We talked about the Bazaar. I stayed to dinner & did Maria’s hair. Blanche & Connie came in. In the eveng we had some singing and were home by 11. Poney returned to town by train. | |
