26 November 1863 — Beenham, nr. Reading, Berkshire
Thursday. 26th [November 1863]. It rained in the morng. Monty & Mr Hutchins went out hunting. I sang all the morng. Went for a stroll with Miss De Bernaben in the afternoon in the garden. Tea at 5. We were 18 at dinner. Col: Blandly took me in. We sang in the eveng till late. Merthyr had his foot sprained bathed in Uncle B’s room & I went & acted to him as I did to FEB the night before. (Danced)
