29 November 1863 — Dowlais House, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan | |
Sunday. 29th [November 1863]. Breakfast at 10. Church at 11 and sermon by Mr Jones the rector—collection for Home mission & Curates. After lunch we went for a walk to the new Brecon Railway & walked a long way along it & got home thro’ the Ivor works at 5. Connie went with us as far as the new road and then turned back. We had 5 T. and church at 6½. I, Mr & Mrs Clark, the M. & Mr Thomas went the Curate preached– Dinner at ½ past 8. and bed at 11. | |
