8 May 1864 — 11 Cavendish Square | |
Sunday. 8th May 1864. Rather late. Breakfast upstairs. Connie & I went to church with Mrs Hambro to the Portman Chapel to hear Mr Reeves & lunched with her after Church. Alfred Seymer came to lunch & at ¼ to 3 Connie went off to Church again with Penny. Mr Buckey called there & Monty. Monty was rather X so I came home & put my room tidy & Mrs Glyn came up to tea. At 6 Susan called for me & drove me down to Roehampton in her brougham dropping me at Marias where I dined & met Mr & Mrs Edmund Du Cane. At ½ past 10 EK called for me & brought me home. | |
