9 May 1864 — 11 Cavendish Square | |
Monday. 9th [May 1864]. Had an Italian lesson of Giardino with Susan at No. 14.—stayed lunch & also G. The M drove down to Roehampton. Sedgwick came with flowers for my room. I drove with Susan & we shopped & got new music in duets to play & had 5 T. At 8 I came in & found Temmie, Blanche & Ivor come from Cam: Susan came in to dinner. Singing in the eveng & bed pretty early. I did not sleep a wink until 5 in the morng. Con: slept with Blanche. | |
