29 May 1864 — 11 Cavendish Square | |
Sunday. 29th [May 1864]. I got up late & let Penny go to church so Elizabeth dressed me & she kept me a long time doing my hair. I had rather a cold & sore throat. After lunch I wrote my journal & sat by the fire & there came to 5 T. Monty, The Charles Gurneys, Mrs Hambro, Mr & Mrs A. Balfour & the 3 Talbots. After T. we 3 & the Talbots & Ivor went with Blossett to walk in the Square & as I found it very cold I & Blossett soon came in & laid down on my bed till dinner time. Blossett staid dinner & went home at 10. | |
