7 June 1864 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset
Tuesday. 7th [June 1864]. Practised in the morng & helped IBG to print. Luff being better IBG sent for him to see Morant. He came but looked very ill & had his hand in a sling. At 3½ I went out in the carriage with Blanche, who drove. We went to Bartletts & I waited with the pony while B went in. It was a lovely eveng & the larks were singing splendidly. When B came back I wanted to drive her to see Susan Nipper but she would not let me & so we fell out & I made her drive all the way home. At Bakers, I got out & walked home with EK. I was very cross & stupid. After dinner we printed till after 11.
