9 June 1864 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Thursday. 9th [June 1864]. Directly I was up I corrected type & then practised a little but soon returned to print off 50 copies of what we had set up, 50 copies in 2 minutes. After luncheon printed off the other 4 pages—at 4 I went out to Luffs & went up & sat with him some little time then went to the Pynes where I found EK; wrote to Maria & had T. After T I went to talk to Mr Pyne in his office. After dinner we sang & I played “Je suis Lindor” & to bed after 11– | |
