1 November 1864 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Tuesday. 1st November [1864]. Practised in the morng. Ivor went to the ploughing match at Miton X. At 3½ we started for the supposed meeting at Wimborne. I went in the phaeton with Ivor. Blan: & the M. in the brougham & Schrei: & Miss K in the T. cart, when we got to the town hall we found that the meeting was tomorrow & we had made a mistake, we called for the post & then Ivor took me for a drive round by Howe & got home at 5. Had T in my room & Miss K & Con: came then we all 3 wrote letters till dinner. | |
