3 November 1864 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Thursday. 3rd [November 1864]. Practised all the morng & after lunch when at 3 Monty came. I fidgetted abt a good deal with him to his room, the printing room etc– We had T with Mon & EK in my room. Blanche & Mr Flamanck played croquet against me & I nearly beat them but we did not finish the game. Monty cried over Comic songs all the eveng. | |
