26 March 1869 — Freshwater | |
Friday. 26th Good Friday [March 1869]. We drove to service at Freshwater Church. Mr Isaacson preached. Spoke to old Lady Hamond after church & she invited us to lunch tomorrow at Norton. We walked home & it was very pleasant as the sun came out. We had arranged to go to Farringford but we sent a message to say we should not. After writing letters we went & sat on the same Bench by the beach as yesterday for abt 1 hour & ½. | |
