30 March 1869 — Freshwater | |
Tuesday. 30th [March 1869]. Dull weather but still we went up to Mrs Cameron in the morning & lunched there & then spent the whole day in being photod. Dined at Farringford at ½ past 6 to meet Mr Jowett. Was very much disappointed in him. He spoke very little & has not at all a clever head in fact is weak looking. A:T: took Hy & Jowett up to smoke in the eveng & meanwhile I had a very nice chat with Mrs T. | |
