2 October 1869 — Monte Mellino, nr. Perugia | |
Saturday. 2nd [October 1869]. We breakfasted abt ½ past 9 & then set off to drive to Ellera sta: the station beyond Perugia & took our places for Rome. We went by ¼ to 11 train. Had to wait 2 hours at Foligno where we got a good luncheon. We arrived at Rome abt 6 & went to the Hotel d’Angleterre. Tea & to bed– | |
