Tuesday. 12th [April 1870]. I went at 3 o’cl: to see Mme de Canitz who has not been at all well lately & found her at home & her cousin Miss Clifford. I afterwards went & fetched Mme Riaño & we went out shopping together & bought the lace & Grenadine to make my “manta” which I shall want to wear this week & Henry rode on the horse Mr Ff: has lent him. Arranged papers in the eveng. | |
