30 July 1870 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 30th [July 1870]. Wrote in morng & attended to Hill & arranged that the nun could leave her to our care today. At 6½ we went for a ride & Mercier accompanied us round by Mon Cloa. We came home at ½ past 7 to dine punct: at 8 & go to the Buen Retiro concert. Met a good many people there & walked with Cerruti, Mr A. Weil—Del Cerro &c. | |
