19 September 1870 — Madrid | |
Monday. 19th [September 1870]. Cerruti dined with us & after dinner Henry & I went to the Prims but they were out so we went to the Regency. She asked me to go & sew with her tomorrow. They had Gisbert’s portraits of the Dss & Regent—I dont much like them– The satin of her dress is well done but the face is not like. The Regent is like but one leg is out of drawing. | |
