13 October 1870 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 13th [October 1870]. I went to the dentist at 11 & at 1 o’cl: had a singing lesson of Inzenga. In afternoon I went out driving & picked up Hy in the Fuente. We began to have the furniture back to the 1st floor which [was] ready now. Cerruti dined with us & then we went to the Regency where there had been a Ministerial dinner—saw Mme de Martino who has just returned from her home (Sweden) via London & thro’ France by Tours & Bordeaux with her husband & baby. Not many people at the Regency. | |
