23 October 1870 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 23rd [October 1870]. Henry was very busy so I went to church with Hill. Henry went to the bullfight in the afternoon wh was an extra one & the last of the season. I went out driving & took Emilia with me in the Fuente; we picked up Henry. Messrs Go & Sey & Mr Alleyne dined with us & Cerruti came in after dinner. Henry had another telegram & went off to Prims for a short time. | |
