7 November 1870 — Madrid | |
Monday. 7th [November 1870]. Had a bird ill & Car & I spent the morng trying to cure him. After lunch the Regent’s children came to see me. I gave them each a little pair of my earrings & then drove them back to Regency & drove in the Fuente & picked up Henry & brought him home. The Riaños dined with us & Henry went to the Academy of History & Mr R. walked there & back with him. Emilia stayed with us. | |
