15 November 1870 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 15th [November 1870]. I went for an hour with Car to Pal while she sat for her picture & then rushed home to prepare for the children’s fête. The Regent’s 5 children the Duke of Tetuan sent one—2 Prims—one Acapulco, Miss Silvela, Xavier Comyn 2 Bernars & Palmaroli’s baby came between 2 & 3 & they played games which I & Cerruti had arranged & left at 6. Car & I were well tired & went early to bed. | |
