19 November 1870 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 19th [November 1870]. I was busy this morning arranging Arthur & Adeline’s rooms & at 11 I went to breakfast at the Regency. At ¼ to 1 Car came to fetch me & when we got home I had such a dreadful headache I was obliged to go to bed. At dinner time I got up but was obliged to go back to bed very soon– Cerruti came in the eveng & I saw him for a moment. | |
