12 December 1870 — Madrid | |
Monday. 12th [December 1870]. Adeline & I took a drive in the close carriage as it was still a dull damp day. In Fuente Castellana we met Henry who made us get out & walk a bit. We had no dinner party today but Mr Ff dined with us & a good many nice people came in the eveng & altho’ we had no music we had an agreeable eveng. | |
