Wednesday. 18th [January 1871]. I did not get up till late. Brehm came to see me—I laid on the sofa in my boudoir all day– Mr Ff: came in the afternoon & sat some time with us. I went in to dinner. A very windy night. Mme de Martino asked us to her house in the eveng but we could not go not being well eno. | |
