Sunday. 12th [February 1871]. We were at church in the morning & in the afternoon took a drive & walk in the Fuente & went to Brehm’s to enquire after Mme de M. He told us she was in great danger with malignant measles & he had taken the child to his house. We had to dinner Genl Badeau Pal, Mr Dacre Hamilton & Messrs Ash, Go, Sey & Spen: Mr Ff: was not well & did not come– | |
