29 May 1871 — Madrid | |
Monday. 29th [May 1871]. We had a morng at the Moorish plates—washing & arranging– Eliz: came to say her boy is ill. We went out driving afterwards. Mr Ff. dined with us & several people came in the evening. The Canitz & Mme Karnicky the Bernars, de Ayltons & 2 or 3 more & we had a very pleasant evening. | |
