Friday. 9th [June 1871]. I went & sat with Henry while he sat for his portrait at Pals: I had rather a headache—which got worse so instead of going with Henry to see the Duke of Pastrana’s pictures I was obliged to lie down in order to be able to go after dinner to the Canitz. There were a good many people there. We came away after tea. | |
