2 February 1872 — Madrid | |
Friday. 2nd February [1872]. Mme Dragonetti & Ff. dined with us & afterwards we went to the Palace. The Queen was beautifully dressed in pink tulle sprinkled with tea roses & diamonds in her hair– A great many radicals were missing from the Palace & a good many new Conservatives were in their places. Met the new Austrian Minister Ct de Chotek & his wife. | |
