2 March 1872 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 2nd March [1872]. Got up with rather a headache– Henry walked as usual. Copied 2 things for Henry. At 7 Eliz: came & lunched with us. At 2 Mr Ff: came. At 3 E. & I went out in the open carriage & went to the Fuente & there walked up & down– We then went to Mme Ettling, today being her day for receiving– Then, I left Eliz: & came home at 5 & Henry had just returned from his ride. We dined alone & went early to bed– Letters from Grannie, the M & Blanche– | |
