Friday. 22nd [March 1872]. Wrote all morning & had lesson of Esq: Mme Ettling came to tea at 4½ & after that Henry & I went out & walked in the Fuente being the only place sheltered from the high wind. The Ashtons, Wharncliffes & Lady C. Kerrison, Mr Gay & the Riaños dined with us—a very pleasant party. | |
