26 March 1872 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 26th March [1872]. Busy all the morning writing &c—& we did not luncheon but dined at 4. Before we had finished Eliz & Mme Ettling came & Mme de Aylton—& directly after the Ashburtons, Wharncliffes & Lady C. Kerrison who go South tomorrow. At 6¼ we went down to the train & took our seats for San Sebastian & travelling all night arrived on | |
