6 April 1872 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 6th [April 1872]. Busy all the morning writing & arranging the rooms in case Mrs Hambro comes. At 3 I went to the Gallery to meet Henry & found there Eliz & Grau. We stayed there a short time & soon after 4 we left & took a turn in the Fuente but being a disagreeable windy day we came home early. | |
