9 April 1872 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 9th [April 1872]. Got up rather late with headache. Brehm called to see us– The hot weather seems to have quite set in. At ¼ to 5 I went to fetch Emilia & we took Juanito to the dentist but after all he was not in. We then went & shopped ordering mattresses &c & then took a turn in the Fuente where there were lots of people. After dinner my head ached so I was obliged to go at once to bed & Henry went alone to Bouillés. | |
