26 May 1872 — Granada | |
Sunday. 26th [May 1872]. We breakfasted at 9 & then Mrs Burr & I went to the Mesquita & sketched the lions in the garden. A storm threatening we went to the hotel to lunch & waited a little till the rain was over when we went out again & worked at the Mesquita. The master came up from Granada with a friend & a guitar & soon made themselves drunk in an upper room of the Mesquita. We found it so cold in the eveng that we had a fire. | |
