6 June 1872 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 6th June [1872]. I copied for Henry. At 12 Henry & I went & joined Morelli & Mrs B. at the picture gallery where we stayed till 2 when we returned to lunch. Had tea at 5 & afterwards I drove Mrs B to the station. Morelli & Susan walked & Henry rode. Mrs Burr left us to meet her husband at Paris. It was so windy I was obliged to have the carriage shut. I went to see Mme Dragonetti & on to Clarita whom I found much better. | |
