15 June 1872 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 15th June [1872]. I did not go out all day but Susan rode with Henry before dinner. Susan read a great deal of Lorna Doone to me today while I worked. The Aylton girls dined with us & we took them to the Retiro Concert. It was a lovely night. We saw a great many people there. | |
