24 June 1872 — Madrid | |
Monday. 24th [June 1872]. Wrote all the morning—a lot of copying for Henry & a quantity of letters. Dined at 6½ & afterwards we left cards at Mme Prim’s & then drove to Caravanchel to take leave of Mme Montijo & came home by 10. It was a delightfully cool evening & pleasant driving. | |
