2 July 1872 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 2nd [July 1872]. At 10 I went off to the dentist to get my teeth looked at. Luckily there was nothing to be done & I returned home at once. Spent the day settling & packing & received farewell visits from the Ayltons, Dragonettis, Hamilton boys, Bernars, & Bouillés– The Riaños dined with us at 6. | |
