Wednesday. 3rd [July 1872]. Busy all the morng packing. Mr & Mrs Hamilton called also M. Koudriaffsky. Mr Ffrench arrived from England to be Chargé d’Affaires. We dined at 5 & went to the station to leave for Eng: a great many people went to see us off & we had a very full train. | |
